Let's meet the ingredients:
Italian sausage, garlic, green pepper, onion, tomato sauce, parsley, oregano, chili powder, mozzerella cheese
Not pictured: water, brown sugar
In a large saucepan, cook sausage, garlic, green pepper, and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink.
Drain.
Mix the oregano, chili powder, water, brown sugar, and parsley into the tomato sauce. Add to the meat mixture.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Spoon about a half cup onto your choice of breadstuffs. Sprinkle with cheese and enjoy!

1 pound Italian sausage

1 small onion
1 8oz can tomato sauce
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano
.5 teaspoon chili powder
.75 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
4-6 buns or rolls
1) In a large saucepan, cook sausage, garlic, green pepper, and onion over medium heat until the sausage is no longer pink; drain.
2) Combine tomato sauce and seasonings; add to the meat mixture. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Spoon about .5 cup onto each bun; sprinkle with cheese.
We really did enjoy this recipe. It was super quick and easy to make, and was a pleasant change from the normal, equally tasty sloppy joes I somewhat often make.
